12,000 mile service due
So, dealer wants £515 for this service, bikes just turned 3yr old and has done 11,500 miles so warranty is over. Oil change - no problem Air filter - No problem Valve clearances.... - probably but never done a shift cam Spark Plugs - no problem Re set service light?.... I assume I need a scan tool /...

Which tyre fitting contraption is that,looks a lot better than my setup. anyone got a fleabay link for a kit they recommend? Always meant to get one and throw it in the pannier... just about to fit a new tyre so a punture is likely

This looks like it confirms using with non LCD Rt's....... old footage but as previous message they say it works with the older style bikes.

Thinking out loud, I wonder if we could use this on the non LCD RT's and get rid of the Nav6 ..... just cant get along with the Nav6 especially annoying re the cost......

Snow foam & jet wash for me, screen & rest of bike, after every trip then a wash with a noodle sponge / car shampoo now and again. Will probably wax it this spring, still looks ike new after 8K mies.

Friend of mine brought one of these into the work one day.... as you do, we then took turns clamping it to our heads while another blew compressed air onto it some workout for the neck muscles

Might be a silly question but why would they check a RTp and not apply the same thinking to a RT? If one needs a drain hole surely they all do.....

Ive just booked my 2020 in for a service with BMW, 8500 miles, two yr service, was told that its just an oil change, valves checked at 12k..... but I was also due a final drive service. Is it normal for a bevel boxoil change at this point? Or are they just doing this recall and charging me for it......

I was told that mine had probably seized, apparently the heat removes any lubricant applied during the build.....

I had mine replaced last month at 8k miles, my mate is waiting to get his in for the same.... 2021 model with <1500 miles... when will BMW find a fix for this, must be costing them a fortune.
