Re: USB connections
The bike is fussy on the size of the USB stick. A 16gb wasn’t recognised by the bike, but an 8gb was, same make/format. Worth a try.

Re: Nautilus Horn fitting problems
I had to use two fitting brackets together to facilitate fitting the Fiamm version. This moved the horn forward and down giving the clearance needed.

Re: Recommended tyres enquiry – RT1250.
I got just over 5000 miles from the original PR4, lots of tread left but the handling went off, especially white lines and poor road surfaces. I changed to Roadtec 01,having ran them on a previous 2015 RT. The transformation for me was wow a completely different bike couldn’t be happier. But tyres a...

Re: Routes around Cheshire
Try Lyn Brenig another really nice cafe with fantastic roads to and from it. Take the A525 from the Ponderosa to Ruthin then B5105 to Cerrigydrudion then B4501 for 4 miles to the cafe.

That’s what I thought, but pictures a bit blurred. Might call into the dealers and ask them.

Re: Extra mirrors on 1250 RT
Have you got the factory fitted auxiliary light switch on the left bar and the SOS switch on the right bar? If so was this a simple straightforward job or was there wiring to mess with.

Re: 1200RT LC Pannier
You don’t have the central locking engaged by any chance?beemerboy9 wrote: Anybody had a problem with pannier locking?
The barrel depresses and the lid opens when the pannier is off the bike, barrel depresses but does not release the lid when the pannier is mounted.
The other pannier is working perfectly.

Re: Thinking about R1250RT
I bought my RT from a dealer 75 miles away. Did the whole deal via e mail and phone. Got an ex demo with 60 miles on it. Saved over £3000 and it’s got audio sos keyless spots. Very happy

Brake pedal lowering
I have lowered pegs on my 1250 RT but have run out of adjustment on the brake pedal and it is still too high, so do I try to bend the original or is there an aftermarket solution.
Any ideas much appreciated
