Re: Trip Plans For 2018

Portugal and Northern Spain in September. Organised tour sharing a room with a friend. Takes a lot of the hassle away and virtually guaranteed great hotels and facilities and a good crowd each evening to have a few beers with.

Re: Service Reminder

Blueboy stated he has a NEW RT so it will have never been serviced and therefore the reminder not programmed.  My 2015 LC from new never had a reminder for the first run in service.

Re: BSB at Donnington Park

I always go just past Hollywood on the outside of the track. Great views of redgate and the craner curves and up through starkeys.  Close to all facilities and a massive tarmac car park..its on the banking but no problem with a chair and there is usually a massive screen in front. ...

Re: Fuel reserve

I have done 50 miles after readout said zero miles remaining.  I remember having 0.3 litres left in tank. Scary thought having to push it if the next fuel stop was also closed

Re: Just bought an Iconic .... Lots of questions coming

Got flashed by a camera on my first time out. Going a bit too quick while messing with the gadgets. Go for a ride with lots of short stints so you can stop and  try different things.

Must do place is the ponderosa cafe on the horseshoe pass if you can get to North Wales.  They do B+B also and it is in an excellent riding area near Llangollen and Betws y coed so lots to see and do.

Re: Seems to be getting harder to get from 1st to 2nd gear

Haynes manual was my source. If the top of the sight glass was the correct level and you over fill even slightly you would not know by how much because you would not be able to see the level. Re: tyre life

Always been light on tyres. Ride quickly but smoothly .  No harsh acceleration or braking. The RTLC is great because everyone thinks they must be slow and ponderous  until they star to disappear from view  in the rear view mirror
