As far as I know, that is not a symptom of "the" fuel strip issue.  As happened to me, symptom was simply incorrect reading, showing more fuel near empty than was there.  Stranded me once before I realized what was wrong.  I had the "fix" but it still o...

Does it idle ok once it starts?  Reason I ask is that I had an idle control module go bad on one cylinder, and it had a hard time starting in first try.  But key symptom was rough idle.  '08 RT.

'05 RT with EBC Double-H pads for over 20k miles.  Aftermarket is sometimes better.
