Re: UK based accessory suppliers?
I have ordered from the EU since brexit and have been stung once or twice before I'm not sure what the limit is but I am led to believe anything under a set amount doesn't attract customs Duty free limit £137.00 but it would still attract VAT 20% that said the seller can export it VAT free so the p...

( I have full business insurance, pillion cover etc). Sent my broker all the new bike details and gave them a call...

Re: Hill Start Control
I use it quite frequently but once on a very steep up hill stop it didnt release properly when I pulled the front brake leave and I did a kangaroo impression through the junction. Wasn't funny for me at the time but the rider following me thought it was impressive

Re: Poll of Battery Make Fitted
Option 8 I fitted a MOTOBATT MBTX16U to my 1200 about 18 months ago left it on when I part x it for the 1250 Fitted fine and was no problem but my battery is on an Optimate, https://www.tayna.co.uk/motorcycle-batteries/types/ytx16-bs/ The OEM battery had lasted about 5 years. And if I had remembered...

Re: Rear pads gone, completely…down to metal…
I wouldn't like to think that I was changing the brake pads at the same time as the tyres. You'd think that better tyre mileage would equate to better brake pad miles but this doesn't seem to be the case. Lot of city riding means lots of slow speed trickling to a stop often means using the back bra...

Re: Rear pads gone, completely…down to metal…
Tyre mileages for me seem to be pretty much the same depending on the tyre between 8-10K, Front could get longer but I tend to change them both together. I try to be smooth not aggressive. I had similar milage from both brakes and tyres on other larger bikes. Previous to the RT had a 1050sprint GT w...
