2014 Front wheel removal tool

Having realised despite owning half of machine mart (!),I didn't have anything to undo the wheel spindle.. So I bought one of these. The end hex's are removable (to reveal a 3/8" drive hole), but it easily fits in the spindle with them on. £17.99 on fleabay. http://i921.photobucket.com/albums/a...

Re: Headlight Adjustment Broken?

Thanks David.  It's booked in to BMW next week for a service, so I'll get them to take a look.

I wonder why there's no price listed for the cable section on real OEM?

Re: Crud Catcher

I suppose it will keep some dirt off the link pipe (and make it harder to clean).

But wow - it is REALLY ugly... Looks better suited to a GS in my humble opinion.

Headlight Adjustment Broken?

My headlight adjusting knob just seems to spin one way or the other, with no obvious change to the beam.

Any ideas what might be broken?  Is it connected by a cable?

Thanks in advance.

Re: OCD cleaning...!

They are available from KFM for £85.81, http://www.kfm-motorraeder.de/cms/en/genuine-spare-parts/bmw-spare-parts?itemid=71607719449 Check with your local BMW dealer & ask for some discount, usually 10% on parts. http://www.bmw-motorrad-store.co.uk/bmw-cylinder-guard-for-bmw-r1200xx-models-2010....

Re: OCD cleaning...!

I will - thanks.

I was considering bars, but I think they're a bit 'heavy' looking.

Re: Additional Mirrors

£210 on extra mirrors

Still, if it works better for you, that's the only thing that matter.

What's this part for?

The black rubber bung near the rear brake disc.

I managed to pull it out in its entirety the other day. What does it do?

Re: OCD cleaning...!

David, that is SERIOUSLY impressive.

Which engine guards do you have on there?
