Them plastic side stand puks they use to protect the showroom floor tiles in bmw dealers work a treat on tarmac. They're free too ;)

@motormuis welcome to the forum This is an old thread and @MrW hasn't visited since 2021! Anyway do these bikes have an oil cooler? Yes they do, but unless your actually moving and creating airflow through the cooler it doesn't really do anything. The only real answer is fitting a fan like the RTp ...

Behind the left hand fairing panel, it's a plug that goes on the back of the din socket.

Is it plugged in at the back? You have to disconnect it when you remove the fairing panel, it might not have been plugged back in.

I hit a rock in the pyrenees and had to use two strings to fill the hole (well, Michael did :-D) it lasted the duration of the tyre.
