Re: Riding with Highway Pegs

It's not something us Brits or Europeans use much, for Brits probably because we have so many round a outs and our motorways are not as straight and endless like those in the states. I can't comment on those in the other parts of Europe, but again they are few and far between. You may want to checko...

Re: MCN Test, RT v KTM 1290 Super Adventure v Yamaha Tracer

I subscribe to MCN and have done for several years. In motocycle racing season I found it useful reading passing the time on my regular weekly flights, having it downloaded to the IPad was really convenient. However, I digress starting to sound like I'm selling MCN lol. With regards to their view wh...

....and also the cheapest source (Moto 24) for the post 2014 49 litre top box. Admittedly, a lot more dosh but still significantly cheaper than the stealers! It is still a stupid amount for what it is though. I suppose I want one because others have one, I can't say it makes the bike look any bette...

Re: RT sans Audio

I am still struggling with how CJ was offended, but I apologised blindly as a here is no chance of rendezvousing with him. I suppose we should all take a step back and review what we are saying or trying to say? It is well documented that the English language is one of the hardest to learn and under...

I love my brakes the way they are, they are by far the best brakes I have had on numerous bikes.

Re: RT sans Audio

My apologies if you feel I have offended you that was not my intention. You will find that amongst the truly valuable information given on the forum there is also tongue in cheek humour. The point I was trying but failed to get over was BMW charge extra money for extra components and has RTman point...

Re: RT sans Audio

I have what I think is a basic model, grilles are in place.is there's no speakers behind them?. What year is your bike Crawfordjohn? Following in on from what RTman10 is saying and I would bank on it being 100% correct, you may have speaker behind the grills, but the question is what year is your b...

+1 for the Air Forces Master Blaster great bit of kit, but watch you don't blow the water  deeper into those nooks and crannies.

Re: Flooding

+1 on that... :( +1 it seems unfair that they seem to go through this what seems like year on year. What are these so called planners doing about this. It would not take a rocket scientist or indeed the brains of an archbishop to work out: rainfall, slopes, rivers, lakes, roads and flooding. These ...

Re: Crash Bars and Hwy Pegs

I just bought my first 2012 R1200RT love it but I have a bum knee. I think hwy pegs would give me a break on those long rides. Anybody out there have an opinion? Crash bars sound smart, and it would give me a great place to mount the pegs. BMW crash bars, or an aftermarket. Let me know your thought...
