Covid-19 & Spain :) I'm booked on a Brittany Ferries crossing on the 25th of August with a return crossing on the 3rd of September. I've got three nights booked in Potes to explore the Picos then I'm off for a night in Ainsa before spending a few days exploring the Pyrenees....

Yes, mine did that and I thought it was compression lock. Put it in under warranty and they replaced the battery with a larger capacity one. Hasn't done it since. I don't feel a problem exists "yet" with my bike ... have 2 years warranty remaining and am keeping an eye on the st...

I sometimes have the same problem on my R1250, seems the starter turns the engine maybe a 1/4 turn and it stops, I know there is a centrifugal de-compressor on the exhaust valves to aid starting but this "Stopping" seems very much like compression lock to me, I don't view it as a...

Like to think I would get away without replacing them, I'm solo on the trip, and heard the spanish use a lot of silica in their roads which provides great grip but hard on tyres (like Scottish roads apparently) I also have a R1100RT which is currently in use for local trips so the R1250 is only goin...
