Dynamic ESA Question

I have a 2015 1200RT with the Dynamic ESA.  I ride around one up without the top case, just the two side cases.  They are usually empty. The ESA gives me an option of One Up, One Up with Luggage, and Two Up.  My question is if it is just me, with empty cases, should I use ...

Re: What is this for??

So it's there to mount the plate if you're in a country that has a larger plate?

Larger grips

Hi everyone

I am the proud owner of a new '15 R1200RT and love the bike.  However I have some large hands and these small diameter grips don't make the hands very happy on a long ride.  Do any of you have recommendations for making these grips larger?

Thanks in advance

Sure helps with my knees.

Are you talking the lower pegs or the boards?

Re: Lower foot pegs

Originally I was asking about the lower pegs.  But I had never seen the boards until the post and looked interesting but a bit un-BMW but hell my last bike of 7 years was a HD Road King so nothing looks weird to me.

Re: Lower foot pegs

^ A real iron butt if you can ride for 4-6 days. 3 hours is about my limit before I need to straighten my knees a little. Yeah I hear ya.  I can do a good 4 hours before I need to straighten out.  When I had the Harley, I rode from Gatlinburg to Lancaster PA straight through for 1...

Well over here, a guy can ride in pretty much any direction for 4-6 days and still be in the same country, so we tend to go for comfort and no leg cramps  :))

These floor boards have really piqued my interest. I'm going to explore them a little more.
Thanks for the info.

Lower foot pegs

Has anyone tried the lower foot pegs for the R1200RT? I'm 6'3" and would love to have just a little more leg extension, but are they enough to make a difference? I don't do a lot of leaning over so I don't think that part (scraping the road) will affect me.
Thanks
