Re: Headlight removal?
I had the same problem from the factory on my 2016. I decided to remove the headlight assembly to install an LED bulb. It is an easy task, you just have to take your time. It took me approx 2 hrs to remove & reinstall with sometime looking at the LED lamp replacement installed to see what I migh...

Have you checked that the outlet is plugged in on the back, fallen off? Just a suggestion, simple things first.

Re: New 2017 gearbox clunk free.
Good luck with getting BMW to warranty there gear box for 'The Clunk' gearbox, the response will be 'They All do That'. But that being sadi you would think with the premium $ paid for the bikes they could have fix that issue many models ago! Yes & my 2016 does it, I have found that sometimes lig...

Re: Nav V
I did the firmware update from 3.20 to 3.30, and yesterday I found that Trip A & B would increase 4 to 5 times the actual distance traveled...eg drive 1 km & they both showed 6 km.
I did a factory reset but still the same.
Will contact Garmin tomorrow, also sent an email issue with 3.30.

Re: LED Driving Lights
I installed some after market LED onto the OEM brackets. I powered them through a fuze block to a Skena IQ-275 Intelligent Lighting Controller. The trigger I used to turn them on is the wire from the tail light, so they come on/off with powering up or turning off the bike.
This was on a 2016 RT.

2016 Rt - Givi V56 Maxia 4 Top Box Installed
I installed the Givi Maxia 4Top Box on my 2016 R1200RT LC a few weeks ago. I am liking it, has lots of room & IMHO it doesn't look bigger on the bike than the OEM 49Ltr Top Box. I also installed the Admore LED light in the reflectors, that function as tail. Brake, signal lights (not bright enoug...

Re: Best way to order for a Canadian…?
I'd order direct. And would have it shipped to a location close to the border (shipping is usually cheaper in US, sometimes free) & go pick it up on a trip into US for 4 days that allows you to claim $800CDN.

Re: Bar to PSI
I picked up my 2016 RT last Tuesday & the tire (tyre) pressure is in Bar. I am going to book my first service tomorrow & I am going to ask about getting it changed to PSI. And by the way pressure gauges are usually in PSI in Canada.
