Re: The tire pressure monitors

That's a bit confusing, pressure is measured in psi, or bar,

Re: The tire pressure monitors

Quick note, when displayed in Bar, be aware that "only" 0.1 - 0.2 bar, is 1.5 - 3 psi, not huge but if it changed downwards quickly? just thought it might help. Whilst here, yesterday on a long ride out, my tpm showed a sudden drop from 2.5bar to 2.3, then went to zero, worrying at 70mph o...

No offence taken buddy, I thought your observation and comment was funny, just couldn't depict it with an icon for some unexplained reason.

Re: Dropped bike...%#$@%

Here is a video of part of the training course mentioned above, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1v3-5Gs5KOw Yes good stuff, really shows how looking constantly where you are going ie at the blue marker aids the turn, when the rider was focused on the marker he made a tight turn you can see his head...

Re: Dropped bike...%#$@%

As well as the above help and advice with road camber etc, it  might be worth getting friend to follow you to see if you are sitting central on the bike. It is not uncommon for riders including myself (working on it) to sit over to one side or the other, this alters the weight distribution,...

Bummer, but your OK, everything else will work itself through. Just shows how easy it is. Also the value of those protection bars, that's exactly what they are there for.

Re: Haynes Workshop Manual

Just received a copy of Haynes for the 2010 through 2013 models. They are a good starting point for the average owner, would agree that paper quality is poor etc. But what can you get for 15 squid these days. two coffee's and a biscuit in Star bucks ha.

Re: Tool bag essentials

Thanks all.  I took a look at the tool bag I carry around in my Vespa GTS300, and I had more than I thought.  Guess I need to figure out a way to sprinkle these goodies around in the RT, or tie the bag securely into the cargo cases. Looks like a good assortmemt, but I would lose t...

Gentlemen's hardware.

Still deciding on what else to carry, only ever done short trips before purchase of RT, now intending to do some camping touring, starting in May with a trip to the memorial sites in Northern France.

Re: Open face helmet ...?

Screens are for looking over, not through, as shown by our innovative constabulary in the attached photo.  be. Helmet choice, my preference is a flip up , best of both worlds IMO. But your choice after all, comfort as well as safety , is also an important factor when choosing any ride gear....
