Re: Exhaust flap

Here's a company that makes a device that fools the ECU into thinking the servo is still connected. https://www.skutr.net/exhaust-valves-and-servo-motors-explained/ They also have an explanation of what the exhaust flap is for. Thanks great post kioot [emoji41] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Re: Weave at slow speed

Hi congratulations on your beautiful new machine!
I suggest to bring it back to the dealer for a road test.. this is not normal, hopefully it's something minor.
Cheers.

Re: Agricultural clunk

Maybe its not the gearbox but due to the clutch? I found this after a long research on this rainy day here in Montreal...a lot of it makes perfect sense to me... 1) Most motorcycle clutches use multiple plates, which do not free completely (and separate fully from the adjacent plate) because they a...

Re: Agricultural clunk

Nah, my K13GT Beemer was equally clunky in the low gears, and that was an in-line 4 cyl engine.  :-X Spur .v. helical gears comes to mind re the difference between car (synchromesh helical gears which are smoother and quieter in operation) and bike (spur gears which are tougher but noisier...

Re: Michelin Road 5 Compatibility

Hi After a 8800km round trip in Europe, Im home again. The new Road 5 tires are very good. It's a lot of tread left in the tires, so I reckon i could get another 2-3000 km, maybe more. It was a little bit "cupping" at the rear tyre. I will attach pictures so you can judge it. Best Regards...

Re: So you think keyless is great?

The point is, if the key is out of range of the bike, it is not a problem. You just hunt for your key...find it, and then ride. My caution is about when you lose that key WHILE you are riding. Some of you folk live a LONG way away from civilisation. Like I said, carry that Emergency key somewhere o...

Rear Brakes ??

Hello  Trying to find some rear brakes for my 2016  R1200RT in Canada is like searching for air on mars. Are they really sold out everywhere except for a few dealers that sell them at 2 million percent above cost? Please help if anyone has a suggestion. Riding out to the Blue Ridge...
