Re: Hill Assist
Perhaps I'm doing something wrong but I'm not sold on the hill assist thing. I've gotten over the trusting it thing but it says you can get it to disengage by use of the throttle but it always feels like it gets to a threshold, unconvinced then relinquishes causing the bike to lurch forward which in...

Re: Auto lock cases?
I wouldn't go that far... Just proves that there's still some (all be it) small areas for improvement. To be honest, the fact that this is all I can come up with is testament to how good it is.

Re: Bluetooth with Zumo and Autocom
I've got the sound kit on my bike (came with it I never would have paid for it). I only use it when pushing the bike into the garage! I can't believe the price of this new! I would have expected either digital radio and an open BT comms setup for that money (or the BMW headsets thrown in!). I'm cons...

Re: Auto lock cases?
That's what I've taken to doing but it would have been nice to have them lock with the alarm.

Re: MPG - at the risk of sounding like an anorak...
I had 60mpg whilst the weather was bad but as it's warmed up, dried out and I've got used to the bike it is coming down (around 57mpg). Sure I can get it lower but to be fair if I want to keep my licence you really don't spend long hard on the gas!

Re: Gear Shift Pro
I love it, when I first picked up my bike a month ago and was riding through conditions with -4 degrees c it has the benefit of keeping your fingers wrapped around those heated grips!

Auto lock cases?
I've got the alarm to auto arm so long after switching off, is there a way to auto lock the cases? I have the central locking option but am keen not to walk away from the bike with the cases unlocked. I know there would be occasions when this would annoy me but it would be for the greater good. Re: Winter riding!
Only got mine on 2nd fen and have ridden most days. Today was the first when I haven't had the temp warning, I've been as low as -3.5 degrees. Never felt so safe on a bike and gear shift assist is great for keeping my left hand(finger tips) on the heated grip!

Re: Picked up my bike on Monday
Over a week now and not a day solidly out of freezing. Averaging 59mpg (uk) and managed 64 on one journey. Can't wait for better weather.

Re: 2015 Marino blue R1200RT
Just waiting for the money to go through so I collect mine fully specced up LE including radio, it was a repaired recall bike that the owner had his money back on. I just wouldn't pay that money for the radio as has been said play back through BT if you're really keen. I can't believe people still s...
