Re: 1250RT rear rack

A couple of people have transferred their Avant extender (from NN) onto the 1250. Clearance is tight - mm but it does fit. I'm going to try mine when I get my bike the beginning of April to see if he clearance is acceptable. Let us know how you get on. The Hornig extender is pretty useless and I am...

Extra mirrors on 1250 RT

does anyone know if it’s possible to fit conventional bar mounted mirrors to a 2018 1250 RT fitted with the auxiliary light switch and SOS switch. Seen them on the bikes without these types of clamps but nothing as yet for bikes with these accessories fitted. Thanks

Re: New R1250RT

I already have them on my current 17 reg, may have to modify the mountings as the 1250 engine is wider. All the other stuff should be direct swap over. The wunderlich ones are due in March apparently with a choice of 3 different finishes. I have a silver finish engine on a black bike so think black...

Re: 1250RT rear rack

Bought the Givi SRA 5113 from Wits on this forum (fits perfectly) ordered the Hornig fender extender as this seems to be the only one currently available. Nippy Norman’s list the Avant in the R1250RT section but doesn’t confirm it fits in the model fits section. I didn’t think it would have enough c...

1250RT rear rack

Hi All
Does anyone know if the Givi rear rack for the 1200 also fits the 1250? Also the Avant front fender extender. TIA

Re: Back to the RT

1250RT will be the latest one. I always hankered for a Ducati and initially was happy with it, but chain maintenance was a pain along with the mess on the rear of the bike and the clatter and shaking from the engine at low speed was not nice. Seat adjustment was not easy and it tilted you forward in...

Back to the RT

So after swapping my 2015 RT for a Multistrada (lasted 8 months) then a GS Exclusive I’m Back  to the RT. Hopefully picking it up end of next week.
Been an expensive merry go round.

Re: Rode a GS yesterday...

I went from a 2015 RT to a 2017 GS via a 2016 Multistrada. Happy with my GS only thing I miss from the RT is the weather protection and how easy it was to keep clean compared to the GS. Dont miss the extra weight but it does feel like a more polished product than the GS, more power and less weight a...
