Re: Loss of power / surging going up a hill.
Its easy to check You can ride the bike and hold the throttle wide open (do not close it at all) and just change gear if it changes you have gear shift assist pro Or you can use a vin code decoder which will tell you Or have a look at the gear linkage and if it attaches to item number 15 ...

SW Motech Pro city tank bag question.
I was just wondering if anyone's using the SW motech pro city tank bag on an R1250RT and if when it's loaded does it touch the tank anywhere ?, Or does the locking mechanism keep it suspended?.
Thanks.
Thanks.

TJRL wrote: I do not know about the larger Baglux tank-bags, but I have small one that fits my 2020 RT just fine. It was one of the smaller Baglux tank bags (18l?) when I got it and it has been on all my R'RTs since the 1150.
I don't suppose you know the name of the bag or a picture of it ?.

Re: Which Baglux tank bag fits the RT?
I've been looking for over a year and ive come to the conclusion that whilst they sell the tank cover(i have one on mine)there is no suitable bag. https://i.postimg.cc/Zn3dKBp8/20210515-135417.jpg Topsellier don't do a dedicated one either. That looks nice on a black RT, I can see by the rear clips...

Re: Loss of power / surging going up a hill.
The quickshifter works by cutting the ignition when you change gear and its being known that if you are touching the gear lever and applying slight pressure then it can activate and cut the ignition causing exactly the same symptoms Anyone who has a quickshifter and has messed up a gear change will...

Re: Loss of power / surging going up a hill.
Probably stale fuel or a bit of water in it, What you've planned on doing should sort it. Let us know how it is once you've run a fresh tank of the good stuff through? I wouldn't bother with the injector cleaner as the good stuff is supposed to have that sort of stuff in it from the pump. Hi, well ...

Re: Loss of power / surging going up a hill.
Hi Panman It's not fuel related, it's the electronics on the bike cutting in and out. Dependent on the incline, the riding mode your in and amount of the throttle you had open the bike will cut the throttle in and out to stop the rear spinning or the front end lifting up. Mine caught me out a few t...

Re: Which Baglux tank bag fits the RT?
I’ve just tried my old Baglux Evosign bag on the bike, and the slope on the tank precludes using that particular model. There is however the Bagster Adventure tabs bag which is pre-shaped, but I am unable to make out as to whether there are the fixing points to correspond with the cover. As there i...

Loss of power / surging going up a hill.
Just aqquired a 2019 1250RT, first ride out I was about 4 miles in and on my usual circuit when going up a steepish hill under load it suddenly lost power as if it was short on fuel, I held the throttle steady and it came back then a series of on off surging started. I stopped then pulled off again,...

Re: Which Baglux tank bag fits the RT?
I’m just about to take ownership of a 2019 1250rt next week, I’ve always used bagster / baglux tank harnesses on previous bikes to add protection to the tank and that bit of padded leg comfort. I’m struggling to see if they do a white and black harness for a white bike ?, also thanks Steve for askin...
