I know this is an BMW RT forum but did anyone consider the newish Triumph Trophy SE ? A friend of mine bought one and is very pleased
With it ! Maybe not the same quality and I believe the controls are a bit of a faf but nearly 5k cheaper compared with the BM

As I haven't got either at the moment I just wondered if anyone on here had owned a GS before buying there RT ? I wouldn't intent to do any off road riding so I think the RT best suits my needs although I do like the look of the GS and standing at 6ft 4 the GS might be better suited to me ? Would va...

My new bike until early May next year but I am quite tall at nearly 6ft 5

Just thought if I am going to spend 16k plus I might as well have an original colour coded top box

So on another note , what is the cost of a BMW top box for the RT ?

I think the LE model is listed at £15,900 how much extra for the keyless and central locking ? Does thenLE version have an Alarm as standard or is that extra ?

Thanks for that Richard It would appear most of the negative comments I've heard are from the Anti BMW Crowd and diehard Japanese riders , I've had my fair share of problems with Japanese bikes So they are definitely not invincible Think I will wait until early next year now before I buy my new bike...

I have an 02 Honda blackbird and it's on its third Alternator and rectifier it's done approximately 46k so hardly bullet proof
