Re: Cam tools.

Currently I'm working on a DIY version of the Alignment Pin that locks the rotor of the alternator at TDC, necessary for doing the timing check along with the Cam Tension tool. I have about 10 of the DIY Cam Chain Tensioners built and when I get an equal number of TDC tools built, I think I'll sell...

Re: a bit noisy

Is like a "pinking" sound? I bought my '15 with 7k on the clock, took it back to the dealer who replaced the cylinder heads under warranty. When it came back it sounded no different, dealer swore blind that all was well. I'm up over 25k now, no problems at all, I've just got used to the no...

Re: OBD Eleven Bluetooth scanner Motoscan

My son has bought OBD Eleven scanner for our Audi A3 and A6 works perfectly. Question is would this connect to Motoscan app and where is the 2019 R1250RT oblong new type plug located. No it doesn't. I've just bought an ODBEleven for my Skoda, it does not work with Motoscan. I had to buy the OBD rec...

Re: ### Bluetooth Receiver For Factory Audio System Video 2020 R1250RT ###

Hi Old Git.....is it possible to listen to music streamed from your phone using a BMW helmet with this device? This is the $1,000,000 question! As I understand it, the BMW helmet uses an old version of Bluetooth, and I'm guessing this will not be compatible, but the problem of streaming Spotify on ...

Re: Motoscan with amazon fire?

Success! So it cost me 34 for an android tablet, 11 foir adapter cable, 24 for the app and 62.50 for the obd device. So £131.50 against 299 for a gs-911, plus it gave me soemthing to do over the last few weeks.

Re: Difficulty getting sidestand up

I've got one of these on my 1250 and it helps get the side stand down as well as stopping it sinking in soft tarmac, mud, gravel etc. however, it makes no difference to getting it back up which was the OPs question. Personal I am also short and I tend to use my heal to flip it up, not the easiest t...

Spare parts prices.

Pleasantly surprised for a change, a small trim piece for the side panel is a very reasonable £4.40.
Shipping - £12.64  :wonder:
