Hi Old Git.....is it possible to listen to music streamed from your phone using a BMW helmet with this device? This is the $1,000,000 question! As I understand it, the BMW helmet uses an old version of Bluetooth, and I'm guessing this will not be compatible, but the problem of streaming Spotify on ...

Success! So it cost me 34 for an android tablet, 11 foir adapter cable, 24 for the app and 62.50 for the obd device. So £131.50 against 299 for a gs-911, plus it gave me soemthing to do over the last few weeks.

I've got one of these on my 1250 and it helps get the side stand down as well as stopping it sinking in soft tarmac, mud, gravel etc. however, it makes no difference to getting it back up which was the OPs question. well converter cable arrived, as did the OBD device for my VAG car, unfortunately it will not connect to the tablet, so I've ordered a cheap elm327 obd device, we shall see....
