Re: Coronavirus

"From England" you met as a group of 8 temporarily, then travelled as a group of seven to meet up with a group of 12 to ride in a group of six the (three new) the following day. Stop being a prick. 👍 Come down everyone -It's not easy for anyone to follow all of this regulations on all tim...

Re: CAPTCHA for posting messages

Seriously if the money ever becomes a problem create a go fund me page. This resource is too good to loose and I am sure you would get people helping. Yes thank you, but for now I'm doing ok.  But If I had to invest in a new SW - It could be different. My biggest concern is the time - I ha...

Re: CAPTCHA for posting messages

Technically it already is, the fact that it is unlikely to appeal to anyone that would be affected by the ruling means it is unlikely to ever be complained about and therefore you are unlikely to ever have an enforcement notice. Also as you are using prebuilt software, albeit a little old the requi...

Re: CAPTCHA for posting messages

* Under European disability discrimination legislation all should have it so the blind or partially sighted people using screen readers can still access the sites; should not be a problem for this site but the legislation does not make exceptions. I would say that if you are not able to see/read th...

Re: Curious question.

To the OP. The 1250 is nearer to the Wethead 1200 than the Wethead is to any of the other 1200's. So it may as well stay the same except that it would be good if there were a compulsory field to add in an OP so that everyone knows what model we are talking about. Sure - just add the modell to the y...

Re: Curious question.

Just curious.  It says this is a BMW RT 1200 / RT1250 forum.  But I don’t see any categories for RT 1250.  I know the bikes are similar but certainly not the same.  Right?  Thanks. Well - I was thinking about that, but as 95% are the same for 1200 and 12...

Re: Speedo Failure

My speedo has suddenly failed on me. It was working fine on friday night, then Saturday morning, nothing. Needle wont budge and the mileage isn't going up. I had the bike de-servo'd recently. Could that have anything to do with it? (Although speedo worked just fine for a few weeks after this was do...

Re: Brake caliper pressure seal.

Is the angle caused by an angle in the caliper seal recess, promoting an angle on the seal hydraulic side or is the seal itself angled? I have seen both ways - but not sure what BMW is using . The trick is to have something that is blocking for the oil pressure from the inside - but - lets the pist...

Re: Speeding fines in France

My experience of France has been very different over the last few years. Generally people seem to be helpful and polite even when presented  with an ignorant Brit that can't manage more than 10 French words. I think the French take the whole fine dining /cuisine thing more seriously than o...
