My 2010 averaged 52mpg when touring Germany with 2 up & a whole wardrobe. That was riding at sensible speeds but even when solo and riding quickly I still got around 50 which I was more than happy with. I haven't worked the mpg out yet on my RTLC but I hope it's as good:-/

I have this on my RT, it's certainly quirky and I'm sure it's quicker than conventional changes but if it wasn't already fitted to my bike I don't think I would opt for it.
