Re: GARMIN 660/BMW Nav IV AND BASECAMP
You can still buy the Mapsource disc from Amazon. My current Mapsource is showing version 2016/2 That link I put on was from about 22 months ago (things just keep moving on so I guess it doesn't work anymore) WHY do they make it so so complicated I joined a Garmin forum which is very good...

Re: GARMIN 660/BMW Nav IV AND BASECAMP
Two yrs ago I had the same problem with Basecamp and a new Zumo 660, so I went back to Mapsource which to be honest I found more user friendly. I contacted Garmin and was told basically the same they sent me a E mail " Since Basecamp is technically not compatable in transferring routes to this ...

Re: I had a custom seat made today
That looks very very comfortable.
Tell you what I could do with is something similar but maybe slightly narrower, even narrower than stock seat as ive only short inside leg.
Even the low seat feels quite wide I think it would be possible. But the one you've got looks brilliant

I agree with RTman10 keep away from 05 ,06 If the servo goes it will cost more than the bike, you can get 2nd hand units but with no guarantee. Think about it there has to be a reason they only fitted them for 2 yrs. As far as doing a conventional conversion for £400 I reckon its impossible Think ab...

Re: Dropped bike...%#$@%
That's a sickner Tim, but Sxxt happens to us bikers unfortunately. You just cant win with a bike, cambers, gravel, diesel, cow muck, crap junctions especially on hills everything is against us!!! I think this is why most bikers are very good car drivers it down to their road sense and observations o...

Re: Braking on a Bend
Well I agree with you Cleverbee, training would be better focused on planning, reading the corner so there would be no need to brake. I genuinely cant see the point of a course showing you how to brake on a corner telelever or no telelever my theory is if you've got to brake then you've got it wrong...

Re: Braking on a Bend
WE all know , the front brake will stand the bike up (law of physics says it will). Well it will if you put some pressure on might get away with feathering it lightly Its al down to a bit of planning, Slow in Fast out, if you cant see round and its tightening up your going too fa...
