Re: Oops!
Try Motorworks and James Sherlock and Ebay for secondhand case - you can transfer your lid across if it is colour matched. Good call! James sherlock have complete cases for £250 per side in black. A carcass assembly from BMW (everything except the lid) is £230. Much of...

Oops!
Other half's daughter followed me into a car park yesterday on a scooter and didn't stop. She collided with my right hand panier and broke the cup that the bike mount tang fits into. I have tried to fix it with a bonding solution but and not 100% convinced it will hold. ...

Re: Nautilus Stebel install. YouTube or similar
I have a Fiamm Mini Blaster on my 1200RT and have just installed one on my other half's MT07. Being relatively small I was able to mount them in the same place as the original horn in both cases. I did suggest to Kate that she tries it out a few times so that, when she uses it fo...

Re: Nav 6 Battery
My old Zumo 400 has been off the bike since last October - it was fully charged the day I brought it into the house. I've just fired it up to put a couple of custom routes onto it, it still shows fully charged. The battery was new last March. Pete Likewise my Zumo 660 battery will still show full a...

Nav 6 Battery
Any way to prevent a Nav6 battery going flat - even when removed from the cradle and turned off via the power button?

Re: Touratech Saddle for 2005-2013 R1200RT (Rider Only)
You might need to reconsider the price - these can be purchased new for less than £200.

Re: Is 95k too many
I'm ready to upgrade from my '09 F800ST to an R1200RT. A trusted friend will sell me his for trade in value - $6000. it is a '14 that is pristine and has 95k miles. The bike runs beautifully, has been meticulously maintained, dealer serviced, oil changed every 3-5k, more than $5k worth of farkles. ...

Re: Bluetooth Headset
My first headset was a BT/Cardo unit and it was great. In fact it still works fine as my mate is using it and it must be getting on for 10 years old now. I tried a pair of Interphone units and they were worse than useless. The support from the importer and the manufacturer was no...

Re: MIRRORS
I am sure that mirrors were available that were a straight fit. K1200RS mirrors perhaps? I am sure that I also saw an after-market solution on a well known auction site that were a straight bolt on but that was a while back.

Re: Introduction
Thanks. I bought a few parts from NN in the past for my previous boxer. Excellent service, I just hope I remember the login I used on their website. The Mini Blaster is one of the two options I have in mind, together with the Denali Mini Soundbomb. If you have a picture of your installation (and pe...

I have the TC - not the LC. Casbar wrote: Thought the LC didn't come out until 2014! Well has I said, I have covered 18k and on my second new set of headers and now I've traded the bike, so someone will get a bike with new headers.

Re: Blueing
Mine is still OK. Had the bike from new in Jan 13 and no issues with the flap thus far. Casbar wrote: Got better things to do than polish exhausts But you'll be getting your headers replaced because the flap is stuck before long. I've had two sets in 3 years

Welcome!
I fitted a Fiamm Mini Blaster to mine after a motorway incident with a Range Rover. He started to drift into my lane so I hit the OE horn and he didn't even hear it. On went the Fiamm a few days later and I no longer have such issues.
