Wanted - Older (around 2010) R1200RT

Hello all, I sold my RT last year and have been regretting it ever since. So I'm in the process of selling my Ducati and am begining to look for another RT. I'm on a bit of a budget so can't afford to walk into a BMW dealership sadly so am looking at an older, air cooled bike, probably around 2009 /...

Re: Tank bags

Not a great photo but I mounted my Bagster Easy Harness under the factory fit bag mount and then just clipped over it.

Re: Stainless Steel Caliper Pins

I've had caliper pins and some replacement fairing screws from them and personally I thought they where all pretty good quality.

Re: Loctite?

Blue Loctite is what you'll need or another manufacturers equivelent. So long as the old bolts aren't damaged during removal then there is nothing wrong with using some wire wool to clean the old / factory fit thread lock off the bolt, add new and replace making sure you tighten it to the correct to...

Re: 2010 R 1200RT

To be honest it's a pretty easy job to change the rear disk yourself and can be done with a fairly basic toolkit. The only thing I found is buying a set of long allen key sockets with the ball style end made the job much simpler.

Re: Oil and Filter Service Pack for Air cooled R1200

Just one Service pack left now.
Should also say that this is for Four (4) litres of Oil and the filter.
Only shows 3 in the photo but it is definitely four litres that you'll get.

Re: 1200rt ABS repair or replace options

BBA Reman can repair / refurbish the pumps.
Not sure what the current cost is but if you contact them and quote the part number on your pump I've no doubt they could give you a quote.

No problem, not in any great hurry just trying to have a bit of a clear out now that the RT has gone so feel free to give me a shout when you get back.

Oil and Filter Service Pack for Air cooled R1200

As per the title, after selling the RT I have two lots of Three Litre 15/50 Gulf Oil and MAHLE OC306 Oil Filter left over.

So if anyone would like a cheap service kit I'm happy to sell these on for £20 a set.
That's 4 litres of oil and one oil filter as seen in the photo.
