Re: Sidestand Enlarger
Hi, glad you got sorted, its a good product, gives about 100% extra coverage. I gave the parts a wipe over with some ACF 50 prior to assembly. Gives you more confidence leaving on the side stand. Wonder way AMC have changed the `promotion'&nbs...

The seat looks real comfy, you also have the panel infills (rear above foot pegs) were they easy to fit. Overall a good looking Bike. 8)

Re: Where did you get to in 2014?
Had a few days touring ( that's trying to `cram' as much in as possible ) around the D Day Normady Beaches, Good company and believe it or not excellent weather for the end of September. No doubt some of you have already done this `tour’.&...

Re: R1200RT Twin Cam (2010-2013)
Thanks for that, I mean one of the lower bolts going in at 2nm !! ( according to the BMW instructions ) that's only slightly over `hand tight' and I've only got a huge heavy duty car torque wrench, would have snapped the bloody lot... :-\ Regards, Steve Ride S...

Re: Grip Puppies
As a result of reading the above posts, I went ahead and fitted some to the RT - perfect, wish I'd done it earlier, £13.99 well spent (Ebay). No more `tingly' vibrations and now a firmer feel for the grips. Just hope they last ...

Re: Fresh blood! Considering purchasing an RT

Re: Moving over to the 'dark side'! (Newbie)
Hi, how do you intend to fit the Optimate, if it’s not the `canbus’ compatible type, I’m guessing then direct to the battery with a lead out from the panels somewhere ? Very nice `pic’s’, but park in the back of the yard and use a Bike Cover to hide ...
