Re: Hello to you all.
Any other ‘essential’ accessories please? Like above. I'd definitely invest into headlight protector. Maybe not 'essential' but nice to have if you have BMW Navigator. SatNav lock. (with central locking) BTW. I have Nav VI and lock for sale ;D

Re: Numb Bum
I have the standard stock seat and can reach the ground on the balls of my feet but I cannot flat-foot on both sides. Given the extra width of a Sargent seat would you recommend going for the "Low" version? So I had stock seat as well BMW low one. Stock was better for longer jou...

Re: Numb Bum
Hi. Had similar stuff on my RT. Bought Sargent early this year and did few trips already. The longest was NC500. I'm thinking I can say something maybe. Difference between stock and Sargent in comfort is huge. Stock after few hours I started looking for very frequent stops. Sargent I can ride all da...

Re: TFT 1250 21" - but not connectivity
Thanks guys. Looks like TFT is indeed sensitive for quick drying. I didn't expected it will be that bad. Had to clean it up about 6 times using car window cleaner until most of the spots gone. It is still not fully spotless, but I have enough for today. It is good enough for me right now. Next time ...

TFT 1250 21" - but not connectivity
Hi guys. General question for those who have 21 model with TFT (probably GS users with TFT also will be able to answer). I did quick wash off my bike today. And I noticed that TFT after wash is covered by a lot of water spots. Picture attached. I did not used any sort of shampoo, or cleaning product...

Re: Bob21's Twenty Twenty One's annual RT meet.
Hi all. I am following this thread for a long time. Unfortunately can't commit for a full weekend, so didn't say anything out loud. Looks like I may have Saturday free that day. And as Breckons is in the commutable range from Oxford I was thinking to join you lot for a Saturday ride. Can't say anyth...

Re: 21 R1250RT insurance question
But and here is the crux, the reason is to improve, not to get savings on insurance as the insurance savings will not pay for the membership or training costs. So it is a benefit, not a reason to do it And this is the honest answer I really appreciate. Thanks a lot for that Casbar. I'm riding since...

Re: 21 R1250RT insurance question
One more question sort of related to insurance. Casbar mentioned IAM. I am not member of it as I mentioned. And never think about joining really. I had few police force training days so I'm thinking I'm not bad raider. Obviously what I read IAM is about advanced training. That's fine. I think it is ...

Re: Side panel removal.
I'm not sure if he mentioned in that video about 3M dual lock. There is a patch of something which looks like velcro but it is not velcro. It is located on the top of panel close to those two plastics mounts. Probably you can spot it on the video. Black patches inside. So like he said. Be careful wi...

Re: 21 R1250RT insurance question
Thanks Casbar. I did run another comparison and that one went better. Most of the reasonable ones are around £370 which is acceptable. One of them is Bennets so I have some choice. Motorcycle Direct, BMF, BikeSure are the other ones. But I personally don't know them well. I know insuring new bike is...
