I only use the Dynamic Mode, and never even tried the Rain mode. so i'm note sure how the remap effects the other modes to be honest.

Re: RT1200RT LC Handlebar risers

Thanks for the info. I may order a set today because I need a little more height in my sitting position. I installed the Werks Quiet Ride windshield yesterday and it is like riding a different bike. Very little wind noise compared to stock windshield. With the risers, I should be in business. My pl...

Re: RT1200RT LC Handlebar risers

Did you buy or rent the special tool needed for this modification? I didn't use or need the special tool. I simply used a heat gun (the wife's expensive hairdryer) on the bar clamp, and gently knocked the bar out using a screwdriver and mallet.  The whole job took less than 30mins.

Re: RTLC Remapped

6 months on, and i have absolutely no regrets with the remap. My RT is simply a much nicer bike to ride at any speed now.[/size] It's so smooth, with no flat spots and instant power everywhere. As for insurance? if my BMW dealer cant see the remap (which he cant),then i'm sure an insurance company i...

Re: S1000XR

We rode all the Duc's (except the Pannigale - I'm old and fat),and the new Multistrada is a damn fine piece of machinery.  Being only 5'9", I thought the low seat would be best, but it felt better balanced and handled better with the high seat setup.  Just a joy to ride.&...

Re: Top Box brake light using Skene P3

Hi Steve

You need to talk to either Hayden or Joe at Lovetts, regarding the topbox light.
I'm usually there on a Saturday afternoon for a Coffee, and I'll probably be there at about 4pm this Saturday if you're about.

Cheers
Brian

Re: Top Box brake light using Skene P3

Hi Pope, Where did you get your OEM LED brake light from ? My reason in asking is that my dealer seems unable to source the required part(s),despite having priced up the option!! ::) Thanks. Hi Steve My local dealer Dick Lovett Motorrad, Bristol. Supplied and fitted the light no problem. So your lo...

Re: Top Box brake light using Skene P3

Pope, You say you've got the big 49 l BMW top box with their brake light option fitted and all the necessary wiring therefore included. Most impressive it looks too! Therefore, why the need for the Skene P3 controller as per the comment below the photo? Did I miss something in the earlier dialogue....

I have the BMW LEDs on my massive topbox...very bright indeed. It was a £100 option.

Re: LED Headlight Upgrade on RTLC

Ah, good news. I take it there's no issues/concerns aired re heat generation from the LED 'bulb' when installed in place of the OEM halogen bulb?? Now done over 2000 miles with the LED now, and its on all the time as i rarely ride with just the Halo rings on. Absolutely no issues with overheating, ...
