Re: Front Paddock Stand

Hi Folks Does anybody know of a front paddock stand that will work with a RT LC bike on its centre stand. I have a paddock stand but it won't work because it tries to lift the front too high, making the back tyre touch the ground and then trying to lift the centre stand off the ground. What I'm aft...

Re: Metzelers Z8

I really like the hill-start widget.  Didn't think I would but I do... Took me a while to get used to the way it starts moving just when you think it's going to stall but once you get used to it, I think it's really cool. Still trying to work out why the icon on the dash is yellow sometimes...

Re: What have you got planned for 2015?

I've got the usual collection of weekends:

Cornwall in mid-February

South West Penninsula Rally - March

Richmond (Surrey) to Richmond (N.Yorks) - April

Norfolk - May

etc etc

Our big trip this year is to Iceland - but that's largely off-road, so rental bikes, NOT RTs!

You must be doing something wrong!  I ride 95% of the time without the panniers, in all weathers and I never get that dirty - or haven't yet!

Re: Weather protection

Cheers matey ;-) Edit 22/1, fitted my kit today with some 'non-bmw' bits as I'm still riding this time of year. The bike looks strange with them on, but better with the panniers on as well. Thank you all for the idea, hints and tips. Great forum, Craig. I'm sorry chaps, I can see why you might want...

Re: Winter riding!

I think the RT is good when it gets cold so much better than my Multistrada. Heated grips, seat and vest and good wind protection and your good down to 1 or 2 degrees. For me I would not ride without my heated Keiss vest. Best bit of kit I have for winter riding, keeps your core body temp warm whic...

Re: BULLRACK- Pannier and Top Case Wall Mounts-R1200RT and more

I think it's a top idea and will definitely be in for a full set as soon as the LC ones are available - assuming Van will ship to the UK.
