Re: No level ground for the oil sight glass

There is a tolerance so any ground that's nearly level its not  going to make that much difference.

Re: Rough price

Accessories and modifications generally add little if anything to the resale value unless you find some one looking for those exact changes.  Thats why so many return the bike to standard then sell the bits separately.

Re: No level ground for the oil sight glass

Hi

There is almost 1L between the minimum and the maximum oil levels  a small slope is not going to make that much difference

Re: Front left brake disc a lot hotter than the right one

Sounds like the LHS caliper/pads are binding. +1.    I would get new pads for both Callipers then at the very least clean the pistons and make sure the slide smoothly before inserting the new pads.  If they are pitted and don't slide smoothly then you may need to refurbis...

Re: Diagnostic program to download

I use motorscan with my 2017 RT it works fine but you need to have a compatible device to export the data from the bike. I am not sure what year BM started putting OBDII ports on their bikes it may not work with the BMW proprietary port.  (Triumph were an early convert to OBDII) Check the m...

Re: Which Sat. Nav. have you got & why?

If they new how much work goes into writing software, fixing bugs and keeping everything up to date, they might have a different view. IMHO most free software is not as capable as paid apps. My favourite app for iPhone is Scenic. For the minimalist Beeline make an interesting nav unit not for those...
