BMW R1200RT/R1250RT Forum

I installed it.  Didn't  like it made out of knurled metal.Scratched the top of my boot when shifting. Took it off.

Where in the USA can you get it?????

I owned a FLTRUSE11  Cvo. Harley the heat was herendous, even changed the exthaust system.  100 percent difference with 2015 R1200RT.  Heat is no longer a issue with my BMW.

Mine came with a interior light.
Where do you switch it on and off?

I owned a 1982 R80RT for 21 years.  Then went to Harley.  Had a Roadking, Electroglide, and Roadglide. 6mths ago I got a 2015 R1200RT.  All I can say is WOW what a bike!  Ligher, better suspension more horsepower,  11000 miles and still smiling. I am 65.

Here in USA  Wisconsin  it is 3 years  or 36000 miles

What kind or make of crash bars do you have installed? Cool
