There is a tolerance so any ground that's nearly level its not going to make that much difference.

Accessories and modifications generally add little if anything to the resale value unless you find some one looking for those exact changes. Thats why so many return the bike to standard then sell the bits separately.

There is almost 1L between the minimum and the maximum oil levels a small slope is not going to make that much difference

Sounds like the LHS caliper/pads are binding. +1. I would get new pads for both Callipers then at the very least clean the pistons and make sure the slide smoothly before inserting the new pads. If they are pitted and don't slide smoothly then you may need to refurbis...

You dont say what gear your in but anything other than 1st I would be looking at at least 3000 rpm before I opened the throttle hard

If they new how much work goes into writing software, fixing bugs and keeping everything up to date, they might have a different view. IMHO most free software is not as capable as paid apps.
