Re: Rider peg lowering kit

I was thinking that lowering the pegs may help as it alters the knee joint angle, but at £179 from NNs it's an expensive try-out. Has anyone fitted these? Did they suit the reason why you fitted them? Can I get them at a better price? Hi I had a knee replacement a couple of years ago and still don'...

Re: Which Sat. Nav. have you got & why?

I had a tomtom rider a few years ago. I left it in the panniers of my multistrada during a motogp in spain, after that the screen started to peel off. Tomtom wanted 120 quid to fix it. So I bought some then strips of double sided tape to repair it myself. All was going well until final reassembly wh...

LC Handlebar removal tool - UK ??

Ok so I am still tempted by the riser kit for my '15, not sure if I'm going to like them when pressing on, so before I splash out on the wunderlich kit I'm tempted to try the cheap chinese ones to see if I get on with them.So is there anyone in the UK who has the removal tool that they would be will...

Re: What did you do today?

I did 400 miles around essex suffolk and norfolk, did 5 landmarks for the round britain rally. Spent a lot of the time trying to keep up with an H2 SX and two 1290 KTMs, which was fun.

Re: Help! Bleeding servo front brakes on 2006 RT

Thanks, very useful. Now just got to find a way to block the brake lines while the calipers go off to the coaters. Anyone got any tips?

Re: Black Widow Exhausts - 1 year on

Thanks for the reply. Will you be fitting a power commander/fuel commander or does the LC re invent itself. Will definitely be changing the end can on mine but not 100% sure on going the whole hog. Had me 16 plate LC 8 months now and not done 1 mile on it :alas: So I've no idea of the power yet. I've...

Re: Black Widow Exhausts - 1 year on

It was 290 for the headers, 120 for ceramic coating, 40-50 for the servo eliminator. Akra was 500 2nd hand. K&N air filter 70 iirc. Not yet dyno'ed or remapped, but will be when circumstances allow. Sound is lovely - quiet enough around towns etc, and manageable on the open road dependant on thr...

Black Widow Exhausts - 1 year on

Well the first photo is a reminder of what the blackwidowexhausts for the LC look like when they are new. Second photo shows them after a year / 5k miles. Probably mostly my fault, my cleaning regime needs some work, although in  my defence I can't kneel down so anything below cylinder heig...

Re: 2017 RT with 29500 miles

Cheers Bob21 I’ve read the drive shaft can give problems could that be a problem with a bike with this sort of mileage Most driveshaft failures appear to be on GSs as far as I can tell. However what most of use with that age bikes are finding is that the shafts are not greased, where they sit on th...
