Bought the BRUHL 2220.  Variable speed, does the job very efficiently.  Hid the purchase from my wife- not for long- she thinks anyone who blow dries a bike is insane!        She may be right!!!

It was not an option I particularly wanted, but now wouldn't be without it. Very smooth fast changes from 3 upwards and back down to.3  I use clutch for 1 and 2.

Refused a lunch time drinks invitation  hoping the weather would improve this afternoon.  It didn't!    Bike stayed dry- so did I!

I know they are not universally liked, but I fitted engine and pannier bars as a precaution against low speed drops. In my opinion they do not detract from the appearance of the RT. They give peace of mind which is important to me, as well as a mounting point for my Clearwater lights.

It is good clean fun to knock other bikes and their riders, particularly Harleys.  I now do it  (tongue in cheek) whenever I can.  I must however say,  I very much enjoyed my 18 years of Harley ownership. I never quite felt I fitted in with the "Chapter scene...

I agree with paulh. I have now  had mine for 16 months. It is a joy to ride, handles superbly and feel as light as a feather after my HD Road King. I enjoy every minute riding it. (and looking at it, and cleaning it and......)

I also fitted Clearwater Darla lights.  Unfortunately the UK agent is apparently no longer able to supply them, so I had to order directly from the manufacturer in the USA.  This occurred at theme the dollar strengthened against sterling and that, plus import duty, made the lights ...

I find a small tank bag is more satisfactory. I have a 5L Hepco & Becker, large enough to hold cash, tickets, passport, phone etc.
Easy to take on and off and does not interfere with instruments and handling.
