Does the Sargent seat help fix that slide to the tank when braking?

Re: Tank Ring mounted tank bag with Keyless fuel Cap
That may be just marketing. When I traded my 2005 model for the new 2015, I kept the same tank bag. I got that new ring for my keyless system, but left the same mating adapter on the bag. I didn't change it out. The old bag with the old adapter clicks write down on the new ring. I think th...

Re: Tank Ring mounted tank bag with Keyless fuel Cap
I have the SW-Motech Ion bag with the tank ring, and it doesn't interfere with my keyless ride in any way.

Re: Possible Front daytime LEDs for R1200RT
I put these on, with a set of Techmounts. Inexpensive and seem to work well.

Re: Need LED Fog Light Suggestions
I put these on recently. Inexpensive, use CREE LEDs, and seem to work great. Mounted to bars with Techmounts.

Re: ITS WAKE UP TIME.
With the mild Winter we had this year, I was never completely off the bike more than 2 weeks. One benefit of Global Warming, I guess.

Re: Dropped bike...%#$@%
Did the same on my '15 model a couple of months ago. About $800 to replace the parts. I ended up putting the Wunderlich rear bag protection bars on to keep from having to do that again. The front bars kept the cylinder head off the ground, so only the mirror and pannier...

Re: Open face helmet ...?
This Summer I'll likely switch to an open face at some point. When it's 100+F and 95% humidity, riding with a full-face helmet will just about cause heat stroke. It can get brutal. I'll keep my modular helmet on as long as I can stand it though.

I love that paint, but if you ever get it damaged at all, you are screwed. No local paint shop will ever be able to match it for repair.

Re: mounting with a top case
Any techniques for mounting with a top case , i can't lift leg high enough to just put it over seat ! With my top case on (new model not as simple to remove), I have trouble lifting leg over seat to mount. My knees are bad, and it's a stuggle. However, I just bend the...

Re: For those of us with a 49ltr Top Box.
Has anyone fitted a non BMW, non SKERNE led strip to their top box? I'm using the dealer fitted one to ram up the service department's rear!!!!!! I put this strip on and it's quite bright. Works as tail light and brake light (30% brightness as tail light and 100% as brake light). ...

How much? I'm having a local upholsterer work on my seats, and I might need replacements if he screws them up.

Re: Highway pegs for R1200RT-LC with Touratech engine guard
Mick-o-pegs now makes RTW pegs. I already have the Ilium Works pegs, or else I'd get a set. My brother has them on his Goldwing, and they are extremely comfortable. The can make them in black or anodized silver. The bike in the example pics is filthy, so ignor...
