Re: What are these options

Sorry,

the Vehicle Identification Number you can get it from either dvlc with Registration Mark or off the V5 if you have it. You can than use BMW VIN decoder program. you pit that number in and it lifts all the information about the bike from their records for you.

Re: RT Owners National (UK) Meet 2017

16 people have voted out of a membership of ££@£@. I think we have an issue here. I get that its not for everyone and not all are in the UK, nonetheless; perhaps we should examine/ask why so few have commented. One reason may be it has not been up for 24 hours yet. Therefore i suggest a mass email t...

Re: RT Owners National Meet 2017

Accommodation will be crucial. Do all the locations mentioned have a Premier Inn nearby as their rates are most reasonable and Breakfast is a hearty affair. Other hotel chains are available and i have no real preference as to which is chosen. If we have an idea on the numbers we could get a fantasti...

Re: RT Owners National Meet 2017

Right some starting points.  1.  Agreed about the school holiday period.  That's from when to when? 2.  If the majority think the NEC/Nstional Motorcycle Museum is an option we need to pick a weekend when nothing is happening at the NEC. Nothing is yet shown for ...

Re: RT Owners National Meet 2017

I think we can at least agree we want to do this. So all that remains is to make it happen. So go with somewhere central, that has nice roads for those that want them, overnight accommodation for those that want it, And REAL ale please. Make it outside of school holidays or it becomes too expensive ...

Re: ESA , and calibration

The front shock only has damping adjustment whereas the back also has preload.  That might be the reason you get a different  reading.  Easy to tell if it's working.  Put it on One up and then go directly to Two up with luggage.  You will feel the back g...

Re: RT Owners National Meet 2017

Make it outside School holidays or i won't be able to make it for one and secondly, no matter where you go it will become cost prohibitive.

everything is ten times the price during the school holidays.

May i suggest the Cotswolds. Nowhere near me but great roads

Re: Crash protection

Has anyone posted the weight of these things? To be of any real use they must be of pretty substantial gauge and thus be very heavy.

Re: Problem with Installation on 2012 RT

On my 2012 (non-Audio) RT, the lead would plug in to the socket which has 2 wires (Red/White & Brown). This photograph shows 3 sockets, (may be different on a bike with Audio) but the power socket is the top one. http://www.bmwlt.com/forums/attachments/rt-series/37026d1352741779-location-switch...
