Re: Legal advice regards a sorn fine.
The highway goes from boundary to boundary. So a verge is part of it. No doubt a lot do not realise that and fall foul. Put it in your driveway or obviously on private land otherwise….

Lock removal tool
Is there a specific tool to remove the lock from a 2014 on LC pannier? I need to transfer my lock to a new one but it seems to be needing a tool. I’ve looked at YouTube but it seems that you need a specially fabricated tool only available from a bloke in the USA. Anyone done this or made their own/b...

Re: Zumo entry point takes me round the block and home again
If you are using MRA to design your route and transfer it to the XT using GPX1.2 then it will not transfer any shaping or via points. How do I know? I did that couple of times and it just produced a straight line to the destination. You have to use GPX 1.1 so it transfers your points, waypoint, via ...

Mesh jackets
Well with the warmer weather apparently about to arrive I have been considering whether to get a mesh jacket as I suffer with any temperature over 16C on the bike. Seen the Oxford Arizona at a reasonable price and am tempted. Anyone else use a mesh jacket and got an opinion?

Re: Wunderlich. Where are their parts made?
It would be interesting to hear what "extra" charges are levied on delivery of goods from China such as Customs Duty and VAT. In my experience none. I’ve ordered two bike DVRs from Ali Express and both delivered as though they were sent from the UK with no extra charges. Obviously deliver...

Re: Zumo XT arrived yay! Oh... what fresh hell is this Basecamp software?
There is a dedicated Zumo forum with a XT section https://www.zumouserforums.co.uk/viewforum.php?f=48 . That should help but I use MyRouteApp (MRA) to devise routes and get them on the XT. If you use an iPhone then you can send them wirelessly to the XT using the Garmin Drive app. I found ...

Re: Just ordered a Zumo XT, but the Adapters are out of stock
Just keep checking as I had that problem but a couple of days later they were available again.

Re: Fitting Cyclops LED headlight conversion
Having fitted the Cyclops conversion I bought from Sport Touring’s eBay shop I was intrigued/perturbed to find no resistor in the pack. Mike at ST assured me that it was the correct kit and duly fitted it. Only problem is that I get the high beam bulb failure warning light when I use main beam with ...

Re: Fitted Zumo XT to my 2019 1250RT
I’ve got the 3D mount which makes it so easy and secure. I did see a UK company selling them a couple of days ago but can’t remember who it was. Saved getting it from Italy.

I didn’t know you could do this. In what direction does it adjust?
