Re: I need a location to put my Stanley garage door opener
I tried it but it is not as reliable as the youtube video was. I wasn't able to get the same model.

Re: I need a location to put my Stanley garage door opener
Stanley quit making anything for garage doors a long time ago. Everything that I have I have had for most likely over 10 years. There is another company doing the same thing now.

Re: 2018 High beam bulbs wire colors?
I started thinking that BMW probably used the same color wire on several models. I looked at the wiring diagram for my 04 RT and saw that it is white. I tried that first on my 18 RT and it was the correct one.

Re: I need a location to put my Stanley garage door opener
Yes I did watch a YouTube video on removing the panels. It was very helpful. I ended up putting my transmitter on the left side behind the upper panel because it was the closest location to where the headlamp wires are accessible.

2018 High beam bulbs wire colors?
I'm trying to hook up my Stanley Autotrans (garage door opener transmitter that you hook up to a car's headlight) to my 2018 R1200RT. I've got both speakers out of the bike and it appears to me that all of the bulbs in the headlight housing get their power from a plug on the left hand side...

Re: I need a location to put my Stanley garage door opener
A flash and then hold makes it transmit. I've got them on all of my vehicles except my newest car which has it's own garage door transmitter built in. Well my next question is how do you remove the front panels? Would there be space behind the speakers? Where'...

I need a location to put my Stanley garage door opener
I just bought a 2018 R1200RT and know nothing about what is behind the plastic. I also have a Stanley AutoTrans (garage door opener transmitter for automobile mounting). It is about 3 1/2" X 3 1/4" X 1 1/4" in size and needs to be hooked up to the high beam bulb.&a...

Re: Which Sena model to get?
From what I have read about using other than BMW's bluetooth headset it appears that with the Sena the wonderwheel would not control the volumn of the bike's audio going to the headset. It that true?

Re: Which Sena model to get?
I've been looking on the Sena website and there are so many choices it has me confused. I'm not familiar with Bluetooth terminology so that's why I'm trying to find out more here before I buy something that won't do what I need it to.

Re: Which Sena model to get?
Steve F Thanks for the recommendation. You say you use the built in FM. I would like to use the bikes radio, mainly the Sirius radio. Will the Scala allow me the do that and do you think that receiving a continuous stream from the radio would shorten ...

Re: 2016 R12RT with 750 miles on it F/S (Update)
Is this bike in the US or another country? I would really like to know if it may by chance be close enough for me to check out. I don't buy motorcycles site unseen.

Re: Actual interval between valves needing adjustment on R1200RTW?
That's good to know. I've looked at the maintenance schedule for the R1200RTW and find that the hardest thing to do would have been the valve adjustment. The valve check is not hard at all.
