Re: Help on paint colour
I have just had my top box resprayed in the same colour. I gave the same code to the guy (it's only a small 2 man business) and he got the paint mixed by a small local supplier in 4 hours in Middlewich (Cheshire). I am away from home at the moment but when I get back I will look at the jar (which I ...

Re: 2017 vs 2016 model year
I would push for a better deal. I bought a 2016 bike from a UK dealer that was 6 months old and with 1,500 miles on it. I saved over £4,000 compared to new and I know of others who got a similar deal.

Re: Dog Walkers v. Cyclists
It's all a matter of respect for your fellow man (and woman) in today's hectic life. Sadly, standards appear to be dropping and as we loose the art of communication and conversation while we bury ourselves in our mobile phone driven world of impersonal IT and become less tolerant of the people aroun...

Re: Nav V
I have a 2016 RT without the audio package. The speaker covers are just that - there are large voids behind them where speakers could go. The buttons on the left lower side are blanks where buttons would go - the wiring behind has also been removed. The Sat Nav will link through any Bluetooth helmet...

Re: Canbus Connector Location
A point to remember is that if you disconnect the battery (always recommended) then the clock will reset to zero and this will prompt the service indicator to come on. Just reset the clock and the service indicator will go out. Well that's what happened to me and the reset worked.be

Re: Changing road route colour on the BMW Nav V
I always use the factory set magenta. Having tried them all it seems the best. But then again none of them are great in bright sun.
Bright sun? Must be talking about riding abroad - can't possibly be in the UK.

Re: Which Fairing Bolts
T6pilot,
I thought I was being clever laying the screws out in the order they came out .... until I kicked a piece of wood on the garage floor which then hit the screws and scattered them to the four winds. Can't repeat on here what I said (but you can imagine)!

Re: Which Fairing Bolts
That was incredibly useful when I double checked the fairing screws yesterday and found that I had one screw missing (no idea where it went) and also one grommet (or was it a wallace?) :))

Casbar,
Do you have the picture for the top panel on the fairing, the one that has the BMW badge on it?
Many thanks.
