BMW R1200RT/R1250RT Forum

I have just got a 2007 R1200RT (here in the UK) and am seeking advice what the best cylinder protectors are. Some appear to be metal, some plastic. How easy are they to fit? Do you need to take any fairing off etc etc?

yes, I have seen those two for sale. I am just reluctant to buy from a dealer they all charge 20% more than the bike is actually worth


i may just get a cheap £2000 ex police one, given it's going to sit outside my house most of the year anyway

Here in the UK there seems to be tons of 2005-2006 servo model RTs for sale, and hardly any 2007 non-servo models for sale.
