Re: RT1250 LE – Rear Brake Pedal Height Adjustment

Hi - thanks for the reply.
I will try undoing the retaining pin, and moving the lever to access the adjuster. I only removed the silencer and rear wheel.

Re: RT1250 LE – Rear Brake Pedal Height Adjustment

Hi David
Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, I cannot get to the bolt (#10) that secures the heel plate.
Surely, I do not have to remove the brake pedal to adjust the height?
Has anyone else adjusted the rear brake pedal height?
(Hmmm - wish I still had my Honda VFR!)

RT1250 LE – Rear Brake Pedal Height Adjustment

How can I access the rear brake pedal adjustment nuts, to lower the brake pedal.  The heel plate obscures the nuts. I removed the exhaust cover to improve access, but still cannot get to the adjuster.  I cannot see how to remove the footrest, or the heel plate.  Help! Than...

Re: Recommended tyres enquiry – RT1250.

The tyres on my RT1250 are Metzeler Roadtec Z8 Interact. They are approximately half worn after 4,600 miles, and the rear squirms when crossing white lines at slow speed.
Has anyone else experienced this instability when crossing white lines?

Recommended tyres enquiry – RT1250.

I have completed over 4,600 miles on my new RT 1250, and the rear tyre “white lines” (squirms when crossing a white line at slow speed).
Can anyone recommend suitable replacement tyres for the RT 1250?
Thanks.

Re: Flashing Traction Control light problem – RT1250 LE

Thanks for the advice.  I changed from Dynamic to Road mode, and back again.  So far, the problem seems to have been solved.  And, yes, strangely it only occurred when cornering.

Flashing Traction Control light problem – RT1250 LE

During a charity run yesterday, the traction control light began flashing many times, under normal acceleration, on a grippy road surface in dry conditions. The bike feels down on power. Is this something I can rectify myself, or does it require dealer intervention? Will it damage my bike, if not re...

Re: Switched live feed enquiry

Hi Exportman

Many thanks for your reply.  Is there a wiring diagram available for the RT1250, to facilitate me identifying the auxiliary socket?
Or is there a photograph available of this socket?

Many thanks.
Tony.

Switched live feed enquiry

Hi
I recently purchased an RT1250, after decades of riding my VFRs, and am impressed with the comfort.
However, as I have a new TomTom satnav, I would like to use it with the RT. In this connection, is there a live feed connection that I can tap into, to power the TomTom?
Thanks
Tony.
