Hi David
Thanks for that. I'll watch for some dates etc then send my details if it looks like I should be able to make it.

Hi
I live relatively close to Willingham Woods and might be able to meet there for a cuppa subject to date and time.
Any info please?

Re: Trip Plans For 2018
A long weekend in Scotland, May Bank Holiday.
Taken some friends to Colditz/Dresden/Buchenwalde and Normandy beaches last couple of years, so going to Luxembourg for a week in July 2018.
Other trips still in early planning stage.

Re: LC Top case lock
When I bought my 2017 and transferred the top case from my 2014, my dealer automatically did the lock for me.

Secured using velcro. A large(ish) piece on the pannier bottom, with a loop of velcro on the bottom bar, so that I can adjust the depth of the 'pocket'.

Re: New One
The upshift (assist) is so much smoother. The downshift (assist) is easier. Getting into 1st at any time is easier. Finding neutral (at times impossible on my 2014) is again easier. Overall, I'm very happy with the new model. Just back from holiday (not on the bike unfortunately), that is in June w...

Saw a new 'carbon black metallic' at Balderstone's in P'boro at the weekend whilst getting my '14 its first MOT, it looked a very dark blue metallic (a bit uninspiring really). The pictures of the alpine white show the frame as either silver or black depending on which site you look. Can anyone who ...

Re: What have you got planned for 2017
Took some friends around Normandy in June this year, so our plan is to go to Luxembourg in June 2017 with our usual overnight stops in Ypres out and back. Went there in 2008 with another group, and when I took these friends to Vianden whilst touring Belgium in 2013 they wanted to go back to stay.
