Re: Rear pads gone, completely…down to metal…
33,000 miles on my 21 RT. Front pads about half gone and rear just a little more than that. Something is off if down to the metal that soon unless you are not aware of dragging the rear brake. On the centerstand and rotating back wheel hear or feel anything? Dealer is best choice.

I can confirm the KTM sensor works in my 2017 R1200GSA and 2021 R1250RT. Not sure about your "original bolt" though. You can check a parts fiche site and see if part numbers are the same.

Try this:
https://airflowseatcovers.com/
I replaced my sheepskin with this. More support and don't have to worry about rain.

Better and lasts longer than Rain-X. Been using it for quite a while now on my cars and bikes.

Re: If it weren't for bad luck...
Pulled the wheel off yesterday morning and took it in to the dealer. They wouldn't repair it but did have a replacement in stock. Told me they wouldn't be able to get to it yesterday so I headed home. It's a 50 mile drive. Got almost home and they called to let me know they'd been able to get it ch...

Not when it gets above about 90 degrees F outside. The phone will still overheat and shut off. Covered on some other forums.

Re: Cylinder Head Cover Oil Leak
Yes you can remove the head cover and gasket without draining the oil. About 4oz or so stays in the heads. Gaskets can be reused if Ok so check head, cover and gasket first. Clean surfaces good before reassembly. Don't exceed torque on the bolts as it is pretty low (10 Nm) to begin with and they bre...
