Re: Navigation app
The BMW connected App works really well with most routing software, or you can plan a route on your phone in the App. Once you figure it out you'll love it (unless your using an Iphone). Plan a route in which ever software you use and save it, then email to yourself and open the email on your phone....

Re: Road 5s
The road 5's are a good tyre but I got less mileage out of them than Casbar, on both my RT and XR.
The road 6 is giving a much better mileage return, again on both my bikes and the grip level is just as good if not better.

Re: Annual Meet 2024
Just a thought, how would people feel about moving it to August, if it meant more people could/would attend for longer?

Re: Annual Meet 2024
Hi John Sorry for delayed response but I've been away. (not MHP) I was only discussing yesterday with Sim the 2024 RT meet. I'm wondering IF there would be anyone that fancied extending the RT meet in France. My thought pattern (not normally the best I admit) Myself and Sim take two European trips a...

Yes you can download the App from playstore.
Quite handy if you have a BMW car as it also works on the cars.

Re: Electrics shutdown when I press start button
You can put your test meter on the battery and read the voltage, leave it connected and press the start button. If the battery has a dead cell the meter will drop to single figures and stay there when you hear the click. Take your finger of the start button and see how long it takes the battery to r...

Re: Annual Meet 2024
We discussed a 3 or 4 night trip, around the same dates as this year.
I know it's 12 months off but I propose a long weekend over either the weekend of 13th/14th or 20th 21st July 2024, traveling on a Thursday returning Monday or travel on a Friday and returning Tuesday.

Re: Clutch slipping after long(ish) storage
You can get additives to add into the oil that softens rubber seals. If the bike has been stood for a long while the seal could of gone hard. Read up on the additives and pour one in, use the bike and if the clutch plates do have oil on it will hopefully burn off. Will save you stripping the bike to...
