A great weekend chaps. Thanks to Simbo for planning the route and leading our ride on Saturday.
Well done to Mike for 'volunteering' to plan a route for next year - thanks Mike.
Thanks also to David for topping up my oil on Sunday morning - I must remember to keep a closer eye on that!

Doctor T - Bob 21 is quite near you. He's a great guy who you might like to ride out with.

Re: New to me R1200RT
Welcome. I have a 2012. They're great bikes.
I also have the Cardo Packtalk Bold. My mate is interested in getting one. Who has it for £200 at the moment?

Re: Zumo XT arrived yay! Oh... what fresh hell is this Basecamp software?
I feel your pain! BOB21 of this forum is a Basecamp guru and was a great help to me when I first started using it. His advice was to persevere with it, which I did. I also followed a few Youtube tutorials which helped a lot. I'm at the point where I'll use it if I have to, but I ...

Re: 2013 RT nav options
I don't have the wonder wheel on my 2012, but do have the 4 button Nav cradle, with the BMW Nav 5.
The cradle buttons are useful, especially for easy zooming in.

Re: BMW Insured Warranty
My bike is similar to Davids, albeit not as clean, and mine gets used throughout the winter.
I've not taken out a warranty and I've (thankfully) not needed one. I reckon I've saved a few £s by not buying the warranty.
