Re: Engine through bolt socket size?
my problem wasn't the bolt size but the length of extensions needed to get at em! So I bought the extensions, then I found it was trickier than I thought and I was short on time and impatient as ever. So I took it into the nearest dealer who charged me £160 and they left the OEM covers in place!! I ...

Re: Autocom help please
I think that the GPS can be heard by both headsets if both are paired with it, but I`m not 100%. Regarding music and pairing with further phones/MP3 players - I think its possible but I`m far from 100%. Another factor for me to consider is the Autocom connecting lead. I`m so clumsy and forgetful tha...

Re: Autocom help please
So, Kevin (nice chappie) tested my autocom and found it was working ok. However, he advised that I`d probably be better off buying a pair of quality Bluetooth headsets which would pair with my Garmin. By the time I`ve bought 2 x Autocom headsets and the Garmin audio lead I`ll have spent around £150....

Autocom help please
Hi Folks. I`m heading off soon to France Italy for some sunshine and touring and I need to get an intercoms in place. I already use a Garmin340 and a pair of cheap Bluetooth headsets, but this only allows either headset to headset comms, or Garmin to single headset. Its a useable system, but not ide...

Mounting kits for a Garmin 340LM
Please see the attached photos of a RAM type ball/bolt for mounting my Garmin. This method uses one of the RT handlebar bolt holes, and uses a bolt with a RAM ball on the end for mounting a satnav type device. Could anyone provide a link to where I can buy one. Also, the handlebars are secured by 4 ...

Top box - opening
Hi Guys. What is the technique for opening the standard RT box? I`ve not had this bike long and haven`t used it yet. I don`t want to sprain the lock or handle by trying to force it. I guess there must be an easy way in.

Re: Heed Engine Crash Bars
My RT already has the BMW covers for the cylinder heads, but I want to give as much protection as possible to the fairing and body work. I haven`t tried lowering the bike over to see if the BMW covers will protect the fairing/handlebar ends etc. Does anyone have unfortunate experience of this?
