Re: Trip to Prague
Wow jeancap_31! That’s one big tour in 14 days! Sounds great though, given your detailed itinerary. My wife and I recently rode 3700 kms in 17 days, from here in the UK, across NE France, down through the Black Forest and down into Austria. Onto N Italy heading E to Venice via Lake Garda. From Venic...

Re: Ijmuiden to Prague
Yes, I tend to agree with what exportman has commented on re your own experience of long distance European riding and recommended daily duration in the saddle (6 hrs is plenty). Light meals/snacks with plenty of water (or similar) to make sure you stay alert and hydrated, seeing that autobahn traffi...

Re: Wanted Spot Lights
horand, If you're interested I [size=78%] have a pair of Wunderlich microflooters (spots) + attaching LED marker lights below the spots (originally purchased from NN) and brackets which I had fitted on my K13GT bike. I'm selling the combination for £150 ovno, if you're interested. If so, PM me or te...

Re: 2016 1200RT hopefully
Kimbles, I bought my RT from new 3 years ago (all options less keyless ignition & radio), and have toured across much of W Europe (solo riding). I have found it to be a very enjoyable experience all in all touring on this big bike. Admittedly, the OEM saddle can be improved upon, but that's a pe...

Frank,
If you’re talking paying tolls in France, Spain or Portugal, take a look at https://1200rt.com/viewtopic.php?p=28328#p28328

Re: French bike laws
Not a lawyer, but my wife and I circumnavigated most of France last year. We stocked up on the required bits and pieces, breathalysers etc, and wore high-biz tabbards. Helmet hi viz? Nah. More importantly, when we scrutinised other foreign riders and French nationals riding around France, not one ha...

Re: tpms light's yellow
Good. Glad to hear all appears okay now! Mind you, as and when your bike is next back at the dealers, any TPMS related faults will flag up on their diagnostic computer. It’ll be interesting to hear if any hard faults are logged, and if it carries on performing without further fault.
