Re: Windscreen

Hello “northerner” (Fosningen),no feedback about Puig? You may find many threads regarding this topic as well as many personal views of which one is the best windshield. Re: Additional compartment behind speaker grill

Thanks for your credits 2. “things to keep in there…” hmm..for my part I think the need arose before the idea ;-) Jim; Sorry, this prototype was for me just another stimulating DIY project and I have no ambition to start any production. Function OK for me but who knows, maybe you will ...

Re: Humble Pie - Large Slice Please...

Easy fix, if you have such issue, push a grommet or any other piece of rubber, 5-6 mm thick, between the footrest bracket and the panel (placed at the arrow, see photo) This will create sufficient ga...

Re: 2014 speaker install

[attachimg=1][attachimg=2][attachimg=3][attachimg=4] I was wondering how much space was actually behind those grills and if it would be worth trying to convert it into storage compartments. If it could be made water tight it would be a neat spot for a wallet, cell phone, keys etc. Was also wondering...

Re: Ordered a new 2015 RT - yesterday

Hej Steinar, I well remember the report from your test ride and after about 130’ pleasant and comfortable km’s on a ST1300 it has been hard to find an equivalent alternative. Have occasionally tested earlier models of the RT but felt, as you, that the Boxer was not intended for us why we always deci...

Re: Lock for the SatNav

Usable lock stolen from a discarded lockable DVD box. Some dimensions: D = 14mm, T= 7 mm, H= 6 mm, L = 28 mm The snow is gone, the roads are dry and the temp is comfortable now also at the 60th latitude so from now on it will be more riding than unimportant garage tinkering "on the road again&q...
