Had this problem with a 1995 CBR600, turned out to be the regulator rectifier, not sure if your version has one.

Guys, I'm planning on carrying out a lighting mod to my top box that will necessitate removing the plastic lining from the lid. However , after removing all the screws, the lining still doesn't want to come out. Does anyone have instructions or a video on this? Wanted to ask before sticking a screwd...

Can't really have a wireless connection for a heating element and I'd rather have a connector that was a little bit awkward to get off than one than came apart every time you went over a bump!
