If there's not any spare plugs and I appreciate your logic, I'd use the fairing Aux plug.
I'd just need to identify the female connector and wire straight to the XT

BMW are providing a "Specially designed" Nav 6 mount thats been produced for the 1250RT.
Anybody got any photo's of this Special mount.

Thanks for the replies, I've riden a full spec RT and was blown away by the bike to be honest. I haven't felt that way since I test rode the GS The RT will be my next bike for sure. I've had my GS1150 since new in 2003 and it's never been riden 2 up so perhaps you can understand my reluctance for th...

1200RT in basic spec

Are the optional extras on the RT worth the money. Do you really need Keyless, Clutchless change, Hill start assist, central locking, suspension selection on the move? I'm inteested in a basic RT but would spend the additinal cash on a set of Ohlins and store the originals unused for refit come sale...
