If there's not any spare plugs and I appreciate your logic, I'd use the fairing Aux plug.
I'd just need to identify the female connector and wire straight to the XT

BMW are providing a "Specially designed" Nav 6 mount thats been produced for the 1250RT.

Thanks for the replies, I've riden a full spec RT and was blown away by the bike to be honest. I haven't felt that way since I test rode the GS The RT will be my next bike for sure. Are the optional extras on the RT worth the money. Do you really need Keyless, Clutchless change, Hill start assist, central locking, suspension selection on the move? I'm inteested in a basic RT but would spend the additinal cash on a set of Ohlins and store the originals unused for refit come sale...
