I'm surprised that your only getting 45 (or less) mpg out of your TC. I've worked out my mpg on the LC over 3 tank fulls & its returning 57mpg which is very impressive considering I've caned it a couple of times. I'm intrigued to see what it'll do when I'm touring. Speaking of fuel- for the fir...

I think the adaptor is a BF13? I had to hunt for it. I don't think you could fit the bmw bag as the adaptor is fitted using longer bolts and spacers so the base of the givi bag connects to the ring above the RT rail, if that makes sense? I only use my givi tank bag occosaionally so don't need leave ...

I had one of these for my VStrom before the RT. I bought a new tank lock adaptor and some longer bolts which takes it above the existing RT fixing. It now works a treat;

2010 with 43k on the clock and I'm averaging 52 mpg. Mixture of roads and riding style. I'm very happy with that

If the mirrors fit through a gap in the traffic whilst filtering will the panniers fit too? Or is the bike wider at the rear?

Hi all,
Had loads of bikes over the years but my latest ride is a 2010 RT se.
Bought a few months back, it's Ostra Grey and has all the toys.
Looking forward to checking this forum and slowly working through the advice & tips.
