Just to add my thanks to Darren for organising this years meet! Also huge thanks to my international rescue team of michealc2710 and davef1uk for giving up their day to help get Big Red back on the road 👍 It was great to meet up with new and old faces, well most of them anyway (joke) and finally I’m...

Re: 2021 R1250RT
Hi DaveCly It's the same as the pictures you posted up, I nearly bought that one at Williams but the spec was just a LE with no options. I wanted the radio prep as this comes [size=78%]with a different wiring loom, module and speakers fitted at factory, without it you cannot retro fit a r...

Re: 2021 R1250RT
North Oxford sent out an email saying they were very keen to increase their used stock. I asked for a trade in value on my 2 year old , 10000 mile RT (wasn't overly serious but could have been persuaded to change ). Reply was how does £11750 sound? Sounds like I'll keep it. Don’t blame yo...

Re: 2021 R1250RT
I didn't bother with the different wheels or levers but went for active cruise control, radio preparation and speakers, Sos call, brown seat, brown top box pad, top box brake light and surround. Think that was it for options above the LE model. Very nice Michael 😎 is it like the one I put a picture...

Re: Bob21's Twenty Twenty One's annual RT meet.
Be good to see a few new faces turn up this year, we're not a bad bunch honestly and don't bite, well not very hard anyway
It’s a great couple of days with like minded people, and nothing is compulsory.

Re: Refusing to start !
Well finally today I got the bike back ! They couldn’t find a drain, and decided the new battery fitted at Douglas Motorrad Glasgow was at fault! So Williams have fitted a new battery and will have to claim for it back from Glasgow ! Because I wasn’t paying for another, much to their disappointment!...

Re: Refusing to start !
My 2015 RT exhibited a similar problem. Dealer replaced the battery but it would go flat after a few days. Dealer request I bring the bike back for a software upgrade. Apparently the accessory socket, even without a load on it, wouldn't turn off and was causing the battery to drain. It was a known ...
